Default HD Native Delay Compensation not working!

I've tested my new HD Native system (paired with the HD 16x16 I/O) and it is not compensating for delays in the following plugins. It is set for "long" delay compensation and is enabled

- AutoTune EVO - dly 1380
says it's compensating but i can hear obvious phasing

- Autotune + Time - dly 2660
same issue

- Antares Harmony engine - dly 1280
same issue

- Time adjuster long - any delay values

- DrMs - not true bypass in bypass mode - can hear large delay

- Ozone 4 - but that's always been a problem

Yet it works for all my Waves plug-ins

any help?

- M

How do you propose to do that on an HD Native system?

Just guessing, but my bet would be that the Antares plugs aren't coded to report their delay properly since you're seeing it with multiple plugs from them - and if that's the case, the onus falls in Antares lap to code their software better, not Avid's.

Well... curiosity got the best of me.. I loaded a basic template of mine this morning and tried the plugs that I have that match your list.. Antares harmony, ozone 4, time adjuster long... and no problems whatsoever. ADC works as it should.

The qualifier here is that I'm using 9 with the cptk and not HD so the issue, it seems to me, may lie in that code.. although I though they were the same, just un-instatiated features..

Don't know if this helps to clarify or muddy things.. DTS?

Can you post a session for me to look at? Are you on Pro Tools 8 or 9?

In my experience the phasing effect on Autotune is normal - even when bypassed it still affects the sound in a random way.

As for the time adjuster, surely if its delay was compensated then it would cease to function?

Using PT HD 9 for Mac - I even measured the discrepancy in the delay manually. The plug-in is under-reporting the delay by about 30 samples. I guess I can just manually enter this, but it kinda defeats the whole purpose of ADC.
