Video won't play
Hi,
I'm working on the audio for a video promo, but the video won't play. When I import it into the session (using the Import Video Command in the File Menu), the video window says "No Movie Present"...? What am I doing wrong? For the record, I am a brand new Pro Tools user, so helping me may become rather frustrating... =) Thanks! |

Re: Video won't play
Probably it's an unsupported file format. Not all Quicktimes are created equal, unfortunately. You might have to ask for a H.264 or something universally supported. Page 1170 of the Reference Guide has a few vague hints about what formats are and aren't supported. I wish there were a comprehensive list somewhere.
