Fatal exception has occurred. pro tools must exit.

sometimes when i open pro tools, i get the error message....fatal exception has occurred. pro tools must exit. this has been an ongoing issue for the last couple of months. the only way i can get around it is to re-install pro tools. i've already gone through trouble shooting, i've deleted all driver files and re-installed them, i've even completely uninstalled pro tools and installed it on a different
drive and the problem still exist. i don't know what else to try. oh, it does this mainly after i reboot my computer. i would really appreciate some help on this matter. thanks in advance.

We can't help you unless you post details about your system. That's kind of like saying "my car is broken; it goes 'ping'. What's wrong?".

Instructions for posting system details are in the troubleshooting thread, perhaps you missed that? If you missed that, it's highly likely you missed something else.

Please post details about your system, as well as details about ALL the software that you have installed.
