What was/is the name of your band?

Not just something funny we thought would make a cool band name, or silly band name whatever. This has got to be a name you have used for real to perform with I would say at least once or twice.
If you called yourself Bunny and the BoBo Flippers for a joke while you were jammin in tha garage - that doesnt count! I suppose a name could count if you had a for-real release out too, just in case you dont get out live much, just to be fair [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img] And if you toured with Julio Iglesias or someone, that doesnt count either.

I was thinking about the band names I have been in the other day, and its funny to me that they seem dated, but really arent much. I finally one day just started feeling like the band name isnt really the key - just call it SOMETHING!!!
They say all the good band names are already taken. Lets see about that.
Here's mine starting way back:

- Zanzibar Cat

- Blue Ruin (stolen by some Australian band!! [img]images/icons/mad.gif[/img] )

- Hypersociety

- WHAT? (really, thats what we were called, what)

- Triptoy

- vtol

- The Shanghai Kings

- SOB (sons of Beethoven)

I was in a band that was named "The Leaping Caucasians". It was named after an all white basketball team.

We had a black drummer.

i've never played live (never had a full band, im a bith to work w/ i guess) but i've always toy'd around w/ naming my band either CRASH 9 or SUBLUNARY.

but i named one of my songs SUBLUNARY so right now i call my "band" (foust1012 and i) BROKEN WINGS.
based off lyrics from 2 of my favorite songs....the beatles "blackbird" and aerosmiths "amazing" [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

Well, my first band name was:

1: The Donutholes (we were sort of into that early 90's punk sound, i.e. Green Day, Nofx...

2: Mozambiques. Actually, sadly, the mozambiques never ever completed a song. Very short lived.

3: Shame Spiral. Had a nice 11 song CD, made some radio airplay on it. Then died. Wish I could find a CD from SS. I have no copies of the complete CD.

4: Symphony. Had a full length CD. Never went anywhere with it.

5: Agenda: Entropy. Thats where Im at now. my personal project name.

i sat-in on bass for a couple of shows with a band i recorded- Whiskey Dick. the girlfriends of the band members wore shirts that said "i'm a dick chick" on the front with the bands name on the back. it was quite an experience. the ladies were extremely attractive and endowed, and the first gig i did with them was a biker bar. it was years ago, and if i remember right, i sat it because the bass player they called "the mongoloid" was in jail.
