Default Noisy computer fans

I bought an isomac for my noisy G3. I'm disappointed. But what I want is info on attacking the source of the noise. I've had recommendations to get a new power supply fan from pcpowercooling.com but I think that's just for PC's not macs. Any ideas/experience. Much appereciated.
Peace.

I finally put my machine in another room. 25 foot keyboard and monitor cables are no problem. Good luck.

You can replace the fans. Panaflo brand fans are extremely quiet. I believe they come in all sizes, but not possitive. So replace the case and power supply fan. (although that might void the warrenty)

And of course moving the computer to anotherh room/closet help alot also.

I put my PC in another room
with radio keyboard mouse, there's only the monitor and audio leads to bring in

beware - some monitor extension leads are not good enough, and blur the picture,
especially with higher resolutions and refresh rates

I've documented some of my quiet fan, remote fan, and quiet box experiences at www.barnabas.com/sound
