Default Tape Saturation and Valve Simulation Plugins for XP

I am in the process of switching from my MAC to a Windows Box... but I cant' seem to find any plugins for Windows like my DUY Valve or McDSP AC 1 or AC 2 plugins.
Does anyone know of any other plugins like these that are available for the XP version of Dig 001?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated

stick with your mac and hassle the heck out of mcdsp for a windows version! the biggest downside to using windows is the lack of 3rd party support...

digidesign makes the DFi package which includes some envelope filters, and a tape saturation/distortion plug. they are decent. nothing spectacular. but as far as i can tell, mac's definitely have more support.

well you may not need twice as many plug ins if you have the right plug ins. I sure of McDSP was on the PC you wouldn't need half as many plug ins.

good ideas guys... Thank you. The only reason why I'm switching is because at this time I can't run 3 Ren Verbs and Delay lines (all on Auxs) plus some comps on sub mixes and a L1 on the master with 32 tracks. (I have G4 500 by the way)
How do you guys with the Macs handle it when those PC people can run twice as much as us? ( I guess I just find it frustrating that Apple has not kept up with their CPU's)
Take care

anyways, I don`t know if it´s the processor (supercomputers, remember?) or the friggin OS that makes the Macs so inefficient(sp?)

welcome to the ¨other¨ side!

To get back to your Q - there will be Saturation on the new T-Racks PC RTAS that comes early fall, but if it is any good you'll have to ask on the Mac-side since you have it already (as usuall).

Lets hope that XP means a giant leap in plugins for the PC-side. It is as if DUY and McDSP doesn't read the sale-stats???

We need you guys in our corner!!!

Ya, I'm totally sold already on moving to the PC side. I'll just wait a little longer till more Plug in support is available, then I'll take the plunge. (what's funny is that it will work out good for me that way as PC's CPU's speed seem to grow almost weekly so I'll have the latest and greatest when I do switch)
Cheers
