Download manager & Safari 5.1
Hi,
I'm using Pro Tools 9.0.5 on Lion 10.7.1. It works fine on my MacBook Pro i5... But on the net, Download Manager won't launch and the download starts automatically. I'm using Safari 5.1 and I can't restart download if I quit Safari. Is there a problem with the Java Script or something else ? Please help, I need to download the full installer for Pro Tools 9.0.5. Thanx. |

Re: Download manager & Safari 5.1
I noticed that too on my Lion computer. Perhaps a bug...

Re: Download manager & Safari 5.1
So I'm not the one in this case... :/
I really though it was due to Javascript and I went here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1421 It says : "Lion does not provide a Java runtime by default." So I downloaded and installed it and was very confidant... But NO! Download Manager definitively won't launch... Please help! |

Re: Download manager & Safari 5.1
By the way, you can at least stop the download in Safari before quitting and resume it when you relaunch Safari...

Re: Download manager & Safari 5.1
Well there must be a bug in my Safari, because I had it half downloaded, and stopped it. When I came back it started at 0 percent

Re: Download manager & Safari 5.1
Pro Tools 9.0.5 might have specific browser compatibility requirements. Check the official documentation or community forums for Pro Tools to see if there are any known issues or recommended browser versions.
