PT 4 stops responding when recroding
i have tried doing every thing from reinsralling on both my internal hdd i have also installed CS 7 and nothing has worked . and when i try to record it does record but the files are corrupted and it makes a 2gig file. this has been the first time this has happened
this is my system compaq presario 6000 with win XP sp 1 AMD athlon XP 2000 1.69 Ghz 512 ram 60 gig 5400 RPM (system) 80 gig 7200 RPM (Pro Tools project files)

In your preferences.. set Open Ended Record Allocation to 10 minutes.

thax rail that was a easy fix to bad i did all that reinstalling for nothing lol
