How to save preset settings on tl space or other plugins?

I apologize for the stupid question, How do i go about saving preset info for plug ins and eq setting in PT???

ex.. using tl space and the generic digi eq for guitars, after I set it and use it for a recording how do I save it to use later

if you could point me to where the info is in manual I would appreciate it

In PT8 (probably very similar, if not the same in PT7.3) at the top of your plugin window, it says "preset" with an arrow slightly to the right of it. When you click the arrow it says "save setting", "save settings as", "copy settings", "import settings" etc. If you want to locate them later, there are in this location : HD>Library>Application Support>Digidesign>Plugin Settings. Hope this helps.

So when i want to "recall" the preset and use it in another project I go to that "directory"??

When you open up an instance of the plugin you want to use, it should be listed in the same list with the preset settings that come with the plugin.
