Firewire Repeater - safe?
I was wondering if anyone has used an active firewire extender (firewire repeater) with a pro tools / m audio interface and if they had any problems with it. I figure it will probably work just fine, just curious.

Re: Firewire Repeater - safe?
Use an IEEE Firewire Repeater with no problems. This is with the Digi 003.
There is no brand name on it, just IEEE 1394. It has 6 ports and a mains powered adapter. Cant vouch for the cable type repeaters though, the ones that have a built in repeater in the cable. |
