Recording Latency
Low-latency monitoring is one thing. That seems easy enough to deal with BUT does anybody know where I can find out what the values of the RECORDING latencies are. How many samples does it take for the audio to travel from the input of the 002R interface to the hard drive?

Re: Recording Latency
I just read this somewhere on the internet. BUT I read something different elsewhere. I am hoping the following info is correct.
"Latency and Recording With Pro Tools LE and Pro Tools M-Powered systems, recorded tracks are automatically adjusted to compensate for any recording latency. To accomplish this, Pro Tools automatically moves newly recorded audio files to compensate for any recording latency, ensuring that recorded tracks stay perfectly time aligned with other tracks in the session." |
