Can the project PT HD open on LE?

Hi. Everybody
I have a file project that made from PRo Tools HD . And i want to open with PRo tools LE . ( because i don't have Pro Tools HD) Can i do that ?

I believe you can, but any TDM plug ins won't work. Also lower track count.

Hi,

Yes it will, unless it was created with a newer version of pro tools!!

If it was created on a newer version, then on the TDM system it can be saved in "save copy as" where you can select to save it as previous version compatible.

Any matching plugins you have on LE will switch to RTAS and open ok.

Other things will need to be checked! mostly LE not having delay comp so checking the phasing on tracks will be priority.
