Yes I actually disabled the Windows Update in Services, which you can do in the Pro Version.

I am on V1709 which version of Win10 are you on Donald???

I haven’t yet replaced the dead battery in one of the laptops, which both sit in powered Docks. When a recent storm momentarily cut the power, System Restore did its job quickly. I do like having both options: System Restore and Acronis. Just like I love having both BlueCat’s PatchWork 2, as well as VE Pro 6 (just upgraded).
Until I change my HDD to SSD, I’ve got the highest possible Disk data transfer rate. As much as I’d like a SSD, my Plug-Ins “wish-list” still has priority over booting faster and starting programs faster, etc. Those SSDs will get cheaper – so I’m more than happy to Bounce-to-Disk “as I go”.

However, I’m always grateful to learn – so, thank you, Bruce!
