So, WHEN is the actual release date for S1?

Dealers said December. I said I know that. But WHEN in December? I really want to try this thing out to see if it really addressed all of the Nuendo issues! Anyone here have any info on the date when WE get to see for ourselves how well this unit delivers?

We are just making sure everything is good and may even start to ship today...if not early next week.

Its looking like GA is now Wednesday so we should be shipping to distributors then. Dealers should start to get them next week. I suggest calling your dealer Friday and see if they have a date.

Got the email today from Avid that it is available to order and ship so its out! I am guessing next week for most resellers. Too bad they charge tax on internet now it would save me a trip to Oregon. :)

Soooo.... are they shipping from China or something? I have checked with my vendor and they have had no news about availability.

Yeah ... still say 2 weeks until they will have in stock but they have said that for 2 weeks already. Both Thomann and the physical store Deluxe Music here in Stockholm will only order them as they are purchased so no demo or tester!!?? They are really going down these brick and mortar shops.
