Held of interrupts/ H/W Buffer Size
Hi,
Every :30 to 1:00 of recording I get a message that says "The operating system held off interrupts for too long. If this occurs frequently, try increasing the "H/W Buffer Size" in the Playback Engine panel. (-6086)" I have the H/W Buffer Size set to max with my PC at 90%. Is there anything else I can do to prevent this message from occurring while I am recording? Thanks Mancini

Were going to need more info on your system. Start here, then post a Sandra report.

Have you got any plugins running? some plugins suffer from denormalization, don't ask me to explain it, I don't understand it fully, but the work around is to put a dither plugin before it. Sansamp does it often with my sytem, but with the dither plugin it's all good. Hope this helps.
