Midi Beat Clock
When trying to sync a MC500 to Pro Tools, through Midi Beat Clock, the MC500 does no sync consistently the same and drifts ever so slightly. As Pro Tools runs the midi clock surely it should run the MC500 the same each time as any drift in Pro Tools should alter the output of it's Midi clock keeping the MC500, effectively, running the same. Any ideas?

Re: Midi Beat Clock
hi.
i run my mpc3000 with midi beat clock sync to ptle as the master with no drift at all. Have you checked that the mc500 is definetly got ext. sync turned on & also that it can receive midi beat clock. Sorry to ask the obivious. I have an AMT8 which i use to sync it through, maybe try another midi interface see if it has the same problem. From what i've read on this forum the midi on the 001 is still not 100%. Anyhow good luck. |
