PT10 exporting MP3s with an undesired 'vinyl' effect...
New one for me here. Our usually-super-reliable vocal suite system started exporting MP3s that sound crazy. Like they have some kind of vinyl effect or something. So far, we have tried printing onto a record track and exporting from there, checking bounce settings. The usual culprits. WAVs seem totally fine by the way.
I was going to trash the prefs file, but it doesn't seem to be in the proper place, which is a different deal (I've had my assistant doing this stuff remotely for me, so I had him call off the search for said file for me to do when I'm back in town). Umm, any ideas? 2010 iMac i3, 10.6.8, SSD system drive PT10 vanilla running sessions on a USB 2.0 external 7200 WD 3tb drive. |

Maybe it's best to send a sample. And I should not have said vinyl effect. It's not an audio effect, but an error of sorts.

Solved this by deleting prefs!
