Midi Time is off
Ok, I have synced my Mpc1000 to My Mbox 2, so that when i hit play on protools they both sync,
What im tring to do is only record Audio, i do not want to record any midi notes, Problom is that when i press record it seems to record my audio about 1/32 of a note off. i do have a screen shot if you guys would like to look at it, click the link to my photo bucket i dont know what is going on |

Re: Midi Time is off
let me add that tempo is controlled by protools, what your looking is is the first drum hit on the first count

Re: Midi Time is off
I suspect the problem is that either there is a bit of midi lag between the midi signal going from PT to trigger the MPC and routing the audio back or you need to play with your DAE playback buffer size. Look up lag in the manual and you'll get all sorts of help.

Re: Midi Time is off
Glad that worked. I discovered the same problem and solution in almost the same way.
