Default Very Stupid question!!

But this bugs me.

Im having a problom with the Markers, The one that moves when you hit play. Usually when im recording and stop the take, the marker would jump back to were i had it originally start.

Suddanly it stoped doing it. I know its so stupid, and i must be slow but i have searched high and low on how to just put it back to how it was at first.

Could anyone show me/tell me were to look fo rthe marker properties. so i can adjust them to how i like them

if your talking about the playback cursor? then go to setup/prefs/operations tab/uncheck: timeline insertion follows playback. Now the cursor will return to the point where it started when you stop playback.

My Pro Tools does this all the time I'm working. I have to continually uncheck the timeline insertion follow playback option.

Yet another wonderful and pointless bug that wouldn't exist if only Digidesign's developers were like...real professionals.
