Default Waves Abbey Road Plate Reverb Released

I've done some walk through videos, and there's more to come.

No, included in the Abbey Road Collection - but guess what? Owners of the Abbey Road Collection can get this new plugin at a discount. What?! The whole reason I bought the Abbey Road Collection was cause I figured it worked like Mercury - a new plugin, a FREE plugin ... This time? Not so much. It's $69 to upgrade my Abbey Road Collection.

What? Collection that isn't a collection? Like upgrade plan without upgrades? WTF?

I also own the Abbey Road bundle. Oddly, it's the only bundle they give you separate licenses for every plug and not a bundle license.

At any rate, I'm really digging this plug! Plus, the one API plug I didn't have was on sale today so I picked that up for the 30% off and used a 10% Waves coupon.

From Waves as posted on the Waves Audiophiles Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/wavesaudiophiles/

Waves Abbey Road Collection registers as single plugins in your account. This is normal, due to our agreement with Abbey Road Studios.
When additional Waves Abbey Road plugins are added to the line, you will have the option to add them at a special price.

I love plate reverbs and look forward to trying this one...

Yep, I got exactly the same response from Waves. So it is not a bundle as they have preciously sold things; hence the name "collection". You can add nee licenses to the collection for a reduced fee, but it is worse than WUP, imo.

I mean...

Didn't their "gold" which I bought a long time ago were marketed as "everything"? Then came platinum and horizon and mercury and whatnext...

Their "everything" means nothing to me any longer. To be specific, since they claimed that AAX-DSP is not a major platform that they have promised to support...

(as in "we support all major plugin formats" and their lawyers found a way to say if AAX-native is supported then PT is supported. sadly, most of their customers dont think that plugin platform equals daw, so in this case PT support is only half-baked)
