Default Cleaning up audio files (remove unused won\'t do)?

Hi,

I'd like to clean up the Audio files folder in one of my mixing projects. I had already removed some of the regions from the regions list before, but in that oportunity I did it without deleting the audio files from disk. Now, I would like to delete those files from disk, even if they don't appear in the regions list. How can I do this?

Thanks very much.

Rodrigo

I found a way to get rid of virtually all the garbage audio in a project Audio files folder. First, remove all unused regions from the regions list. Second, compact all regions in the region list. Finally, save with the <Save copy in> command, making sure you include the audio files when prompted. The new copy should be audio garbage-free.

Yes..I would "consolidate" the chopped up regions first though .
Remove all "unused" / Clear them off the disc (click alt-OK for one step process) / and "Save copy in.."

happy tooling,

Exactly. So the four steps to getting rid of all unnecesary audio data in a project's Audio files folder are the following:

1) Consolidate regions containing crossfades.
2) Remove all unused regions from the region list and the disk.
3) Compact all regions in the region list.
4) Make a cleaner and lighter copy of the project with the <Save copy in> command.

Thanks
