Custom Cab Impulses?? PLEASE!!

I adore my 11R - everytime I turn it on - I'm happy with the tone, and often get lost just chugging away.

But, at some point - I'd adore to be able to sculpt my tone that BIT more with custom cab impulses - to give more choice than the current ones.

Yes, I could route this through my DAW of choice - and fiddle around this way - but the thought of having say 4-6 user slots for custom cabs would be awesome.

Peavey's Revalver and of course the Axe Fx support this - is there room inside our orange rack of delights for this feature sometime in the future? Let's hope so!!

The Avid guys have stated that user IRs would be possible to implement, but they didn't have the time to put it in ERXP.

That said, PLEASE hook us up! User IRs are sweet for custom cabs, but they can also be really cool creative tools. Acoustic impulses could be used for acoustic sims (turn off the amp/cab, liberal ParaEQ and Dyn3 use...?), or various wacky impulses such as the ones included in Audioease Speakerphone.

This would really help level the playing field, IMO.

Seriously though, the 11r guys know how powerful a tool this could be, and I'm sure they're all for it.

Derker is right on all counts! Chris said it was something he wanted to implement, but, didn't have time. And IR's are running 3rd on IdeaScale, so if we can get them to produce another update (please, please, pretty please) chances are high we'll get it.

Unfortunately, any thread asking for features is likely to be closed quick smart by the Avid mod - why, I don't know, but that's their policy . About the only thing you can ask is if it's technically feasible .
