UAD Card and ProTools
Has anyone tried using a UAD 1 PCI card in a Digidesign Expansion Chassis.
I know the Digi company line is that nothing but Digi cards will work in tht chassis. But man, the UAD Pultecs, 1176, LA-2 etc are to die for. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. BTW the chassis is PCI with a PCIe host card in a Mac Pro. Alternatively, how bout the UAD Cards as PCI-e in the Mac Pro with all the Digi PCI Cards in the Digi EXpansion chassis? Gotta have that pultec man!

I got mine in the G5,it gave me too many latency problems in the magma chassis.
It's been a while since I tried it in the chassis so it could have improved with the new versions I still get some latency problem with it in the G5 ,nothing big but I avoid using the plugins on snares or kik.
