I understand you sticking to your campaign but anyone who has used both can easily tell that Inflator cannot stand up to the new Avid Limiter in sound. I won't even get into the features and metering.

Sure, the Inflator works as a limiter, but as Sonnox has a product called "Sonnox Limiter" then I guess nobody can really argue that "Sonnox has already released their Limiter as AAX".

Semantics, yes, but my point is that Inflator is spice whereas Limiter is the real thing.

Avid needs to be working on AAX Echo Farm ....
Just curious, how does Avid's Echo Farm compare to the UAD EP-34 Tape Echo or Waves' H-Delay plug-ins?

Kicks ass, which is why most of us would want to have that as AAX

Is it possible he ment the Oxford Limiter? Inflator is not a limiter by any stretch...

He was wrong either way; if he meant Limiter (it is not AAX yet) or Inflator (it is not brickwall limiter), his point went down the hole. But AFAIK this is the end of story (and hopefully Sonnox will bring its Limiter out as AAX sooner rather than later).

Please explain why the heck Avid released this plug-in with only EBU specs?
Any ideas.

It matches the lm 100 100% every time I've compaired the 2. The loudness measurement works great for us and Canada tv. A show I mixed with it Friday already passed the strictest QC in America tv. Abc.
