Default SH612 euphonix MADI router

The use of this 12x12 MADI router is fantastic within the environment of a MADI based studio with a 5 MC and several MADI boxes.
It is very reliable.

The 10 year old Windows application that controls the routes of the SH612 is more than sufficient for managing and recalling routes.
The only issue is that he entire studio routing setup is saved within the application itself.
My request to AVID is to get a simple update of the software so we can save the SH612 settings to an external file...
Cheers

When using the Route Manager software, all of the routing is stored in a single file called RM48.cfl

That file can be found here:
C:\Program Files\Euphonix\Route Manager

It's a good idea to backup that file regularly.

Well
EUphonix Uk told about this data file with the settings stored inside
But in the computer I installed the routing software on there is absolutely no trace of this "RM48.cfl" file.
I searched for it on the entire system hard drive...
its not there
Strange no?
Where is it stored then?
The operating system is VISTA

Perhaps it's a hidden file. Do you have explorer set up to view hidden files?

I am looking to find a download link for the software that controls the - indeed old but doing the job - SH612 Studio Hub MADI router unit:
"Route Manager software":
"...the SH612 is available for use as a standalone router and can be controlled from any Windows PC using the optional SH612 Route Manager patching software..."

Where can I download it from a avid/euphonix site?
or
Who has an (winxp) installer of that software available please?

I cannot find the software in the standard install on a S5/S5 Fusion.

Kindest regards,
Michael Hinreiner

It's a shame the SH612 was 56 channels only. I'm sure it would have lived a longer life as a standalone unit had it supported 64 channel MADI.

Dear Eddie et al,

what is the correct Baud Rate and COM-Port-Setup to make the SH612 Remote controller app "SH612 Route Manager v1.0" work? - Can you eventually find someone to look at the settings in WinXp Device manager please? (I lost the settings here and now cannot get it back working)

Kindest regards,
Michael Hinreiner

We have one other SH612 that stays stuck when booting after powering up all the sudden. - It is part of a large R-1 setup which we would love to keep "using" from time to time (it is used for ingesting from R-1 to PT only of course).
Where to obtain firmware for SH612 and HOW to upload a firmware into R-1 ?
Who knows?

Kindest regards, Michael
