No sound out of outputs 3 & 4 (fast track pro)

Hi,

I've recently have been experiencing some trouble with my Fast Track Pro. I have a Korg Kaoss Pad which I tried to connect to the Fast Track Pro but as of yet am unsuccessful.

The Korg Kaoss Pad is an effects unit for those who do not know and it has RCA line out & in. I tried running a RCA cable from output 1 & 2 to the Kaoss Pad and run another RCA cable from the out-line of the Kaoss Pad to the first input on the Fast Track. This caused a horrible feedback loop and I got a distorted low signal.

After doing some research I found a new way to connect the Kaoss Pad to the Fast Track Pro. It involved running a RCA cable from output 3 & 4 to the line-in of the Kaoss Pad and running a pair of RCA to 1/4" cables to input 1 & input 2 (left rca to input 1 & right rca to input 2). I have one major problem with this setup. My output 3 & 4 are getting no signal.

I have the latest driver installed for the fast track pro and I have all outputs enabled on the Fast Track Pro control panel and I'm still getting no sound. Can someone please help me get output 3 & 4 to work.

IN pro tools ( i would imagine since I don't use the fast track pro) you need to set up the proper output path. So in your I/O page, go to the output tab, there press default. You should see the output 3/4 now being displayed. Rename them to Kaos so you can recognize it better.

In your session, when you create a send, you have to select the output tab and then Kaos..
