Pro Tools Shuts Down
Why is my Pro Tools so bent on shutting down when loading files when it percieves something to be wrong? I always get that message "Pro Tools quit unexpectedly." This was going on for months. I finally got rid of it by doing a ton of the things on the tech support "try these things first" list. I thought all was ok. But now it's started again when I get this message, "Some regions have invalid boundaries and were adjusted or deleted." I understand hundreds of people have this problem with the regions and there's no fix available yet but it doesn't seem to shut down their Pro Tools. Mine just shuts down with the "Pro Tools quit unexpectedly" message. So what gives? I have a number of very important files I can't open. If I go back to 8.0.3 will this problem go away? Why does it shut down so easily?
