Default How to restrict horizontal movement in midi editor

Hello, I have ProTools 12 and I'm wondering if theres a way to restrict horizontal movement in the midi editor, when I drag down a note it keeps snapping to the grid.

Hold Shift as you click on the note(s), and movement will constrain to whichever direction you do first. Meaning, either up/down or back/forward.
