Wonderful! Thank you Avid! :)
I'll do some more testing and see if I can find other ways to recreate the freezes, if that would help.

Similar problem. Scrolling screen during playback crashes audio.

I've heard from a good source, who is using the same PC set up as me. That a new build is on its way very soon. According to him his friend is a beta tester and that's why he has not gone PT10HD yet. Hopefully it won't be long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd suspect it got logged with a list of other problems and will be fixed in the next update. Hopefully I'm wrong.

But I'm glad to know that they reproduced it and realize that it's a problem.

A total of 30 people so far have signed up to the freeze issue. Is there any news Matt on getting this sorted how long are we looking at. Please chime in here to give us an idea

Thanks

I really hope that this rewrite/patch/update is of top priority to Avid. MIDI editing is absolutely tragic. It seems like it is getting progressively worse as the session time increases.

This program is literally broken. Now my short freezes have bloomed into long freezes which locks up and crashes protools to the point where I have to restart my machine in order to reboot pro tools..My system itself doesn't crash, but just pro tools does. This happens consistently while editing a midi drum track in the midi editor screen.

I would like this fix released, or at least an update about the timeframe of when we will be able to use this product without flaw.

The MIDI editing will trigger the short freezes EVERY time for me.

Good luck getting a fix by the end of the day.....but a word from AVID would be considerate.
