Switching back to Mac
I have been running Mbox2 LE7.1 on my Lenovo laptop for about a year now, and it's been running ok, but it does crash occassionally, and not enough juice to run edits/pluggins/playbacks sometimes. I used to have a powerbook for Mbox1 LE6.9, and I think it was more stable. So, now i'm thinking of switching to the new iMacs and upgrade to LE7.3. anyone has any advices or if u think it's a good idea? i don't really do too much hard-core recording with tons of tracks, but i'm just doing it as hobby. also, does anyone know how i can cross platform and upgrade? do i just contact digidesign for an upgrade download?
thanks. |

Re: Switching back to Mac
No need to upgrade etc. If you are a registered owner of 7.1, just download 7.1.1, as this is the first version of PTLE that supports Intel Macs, and you are ready to go.
