Default back-up question

I there any way to back up a clients project to cd's with the ability to restore the disc it came from as is. In other words, in the past I've simply did drag and drop in toast, but that gets messy if you have to break up folders to fit on a cd, especially if you have to reload the contents at some point to work on the project again. What I'm referring to is a back-up which would allow you to to back-up and restore with - load disc 1, load disc 2, etc. prompts. Any suggestions? Perhaps retrospect which I plan to starts using but I currently have a couple projects which I know will come back to haunt me at some time.

Retrospect Express is great for that, and is less than $40. It will span multiple CDs so you don't have to split anything up manually. I use it to back up sessions to CD, and also to backup my system drive.

Sometimes I even put several sessions into one folder any back them up all at once...just a matter of changing disks.

I have a similar question to Anders',I'm not using retrospect so I still split files up to burn on cds.

What about cases like we are running the same session in 2 places at the same time, and when we combine the sessions, can we like "combine session" instead of import audio? As long as we have the same start point?

Thanks.

theres a programm available which devides the parts and puts it back together.
for example 1800 mb , the programm wil tell you "3cds".if u will have the session back you just drop it on the icon and it puts it back together.

man , what was the name ... i´ll find it out and let you know.
