how do you copy plug in settings
is there a way to copy plugin settings
I want to automate just short parts of a guitar track with different effects at different points in the track? |

command-shift-c and command-shift-v to copy settings between open windows of the same plugin type.
to automate a plugin, click the automation button in the plugin window, then you can choose what ever parameters you select there in the track view popup menu on the arrange page. Option dragging a plugin block (with playback stopped) allows you to copy plugins to other tracks/slots. hope this helps, Tom |

There is also the option to "copy,paste.cut..etc.." in the little pop up on the plug in itself when the plug window is open.
