Trouble Monitoring Input
I'm using the digi002 as my sound card for a project I started in ACID Pro.
I'm having trouble hearing my vocals as I record them. I'm getting a good vocal signal in ACID (though I think I have the channel gain on 3/4 to get it!), but although the music I'm singing to is loud in the headphones I'm using as monitors, I can barely hear the vocals--if at all, as I sing. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Rick |

Re: Trouble Monitoring Input
Crank up the slider for your vocal track. Either on the 002 (tabletop version) or the volume "fader" in software. It does not affect the recording level, only how loud you hear the track at the outputs(in this case, your headphones). Once you are done recording, just drop the fader back down. Once you add a headphone amp(external box) you can learn how to set up aux send to analog output into the headphone amp, but for one person recording at a time, usually, pushing the fader up to +6 or more will allow you to hear what you need.
