Default 001 & focusrite penta

Hi, I'm using a digi 001, i recently bought a focusrite penta preamp/stereo compressor to use fromt end and also for mixdown as the compressor is rather nice. Does anybody use the same system at all, i could use some advice with regards to setting it up for mixing down!

Use the "mix" or maybe it's called "punch" i can't remember compressor preset from the Penta for your mixdown.

Yeah, i do have the mix preset, im just wondering about the actual connections in and out of the 001 and the penta preamp. Do I create an aux? Or a send? Or how do i get it into the system?

create a stereo master fader if you haven't already them set the output of the master fader to whatever output you want the run out's to thin in's of the Penta Penta's stereo out's to some of Digi's in's (whatever you have 001,002,mbox). Thenm create a Aux track with the inputs set to where the Penta is coming in. The new Aux track will read the Pentas output your new master fader. Afterthat you're all set just ajust the pentas knobs too taste.

Did you purchase the optional A/D converter?
