Flux Alchemist is incredibly powerful and sounds great. Probably not for beginners as it's very complex and tweakable, but in the hands of an expert - wow!

Check out Fabfilter Pro-MB.

Only used it with Auria on iPad but apparently identical to its AAX/AU/VST - does what its supposed to with a great interface.

BlueCat's MB7 is a solid one as well as all those mentioned. The key to success lies with the operator. Any of them CAN do a good job if tweaked right. All of them can be AWFUL just as easily

Did you mean MB5?

MB7 can act as a multiband compressor only if you load compressor plug-ins across the bands. By itself, it has no dynamics control aside from gain sliders.

I have been using FabFilter Pro MB lately. McDSP ML4000 is very good too.
