angry about plugins upgrades

i cease to understand the relevance of whether i bought my 002 before or after april, 2003.
so i'm to understand that since i bought my 002 before april, 2003 that i have to "purchase"
the plugin upgrades that came "FREE" with my unit.
this makes me angry because i'm not upgrading for new features, but just an OS upgrade.

Which plug-ins are you referring to?

If it's the Waves and IK Multimedia stuff - that's not Digi's fault, nor should you expect to get free updates to all your plug-ins with every new version. When you buy a bundle, you get the version that came with that bundle - if, in the future, those plug-ins are updated or you upgrade to a new version, you should expect to pay a nominal upgrade fee.
