Re: Massive Pop at start-up
Hi,
Either you have polterguise in your studio or you are not waiting for your powered monitors to turn off completely! Turn all your gear on first! including control 24,wait for everything to boot-up!! then turn on your speakers and sub woofer!!. better still have all your monitoring & appliances on one seperate power supply and turn this on way after everything has booted. Re: Massive Pop at start-up
I have a C24 and the Mackie 824's and I get a loud pop, but only if I have the Mackies on. I use a Monster power center that powers up the Mackies three seconds after the C24 is powered up and it still pops. So, it must take more than 3 seconds to power up the C24 completely, but I don't have your problem.
Check the rear power switch of the Mackie's, there's a couple of different settings it can have, so try a different one and see if that works. |

Re: Massive Pop at start-up
There is only ONE way !
When powering on the C24 you must wait at least 10 seconds before turning on your speakers/amp. After the initial handshake on startup (all leds on and off quickly), wait until you see the main ouputs leds lit. It's often during this last step that the C24 can make a loud POP. You should not get any problems.
