Default Fader is bad? C/24

I have a new C/24 here, Just noticed a bad fader. Or is it? No touch response. When I go into test modes and select Touch, All faders show a T and respond to touch except one. I can only move that fader to a new position VIA the Mix window in PT. This controller is not even 30 days old is this going to be a regular failure. I dumped my DXB200 for this and other reasons but I was replacing faders in that thing three a month. I don't want to be going down this road again. Any one have insight on this fader issue?
