Default editpack armrest

Just wondering why the editpack seems to have the plastified (first / original) type of paint on the armrest and the faderpack and mainunit have the newer metalic kind of paint. My first ProControl had also this first type of paint and I had to replace it because the paint peeled off ... nothing to complain about because digi replaced it for free even though the unit was no longer under waranty.

Hi Chris,

I'm looking into this for you. In theory, I believe the finish on a Edit Pack armrest should be identical to the finish on a ProControl armrest. I'll let you know what I find out. Feel free to e-mail me directly at stan_cotey@digidesign.com and if you include a phone number, I'll call you with an update.

Perhaps what I should have said is "the finish on a new Edit Pack armrest should be identical to the finish on a new ProControl armrest". At any rate, please contact me and we'll see what's going on.
