How to move softsynth samples into external physical keybrd?
I plan on using ProTools LE as my entire home studio, including soft synth and sequencing. When I perform live, I don't want to bring ProTools, I'd rather just dump the soft synth samples into an 88 key / weighted hammer action keyboard. What's the best keyboard and method of doing this? Is a Korg TR88 with its EXB-SMPL sampling card a good way to do this? Thanks in advance.

Re: How to move softsynth samples into external physical key
HI,
unless the hardware sampler understands the format of your Softsampler/ -synth, your only way of achiving your goal is to sample/import each sample of your VI and make a new patch from it in your hardware sampler. So I guess your ´bestest´ solution is the NeKo from here http://www.openlabs.com/neko-overview.html It´s a hardware standalone keyboard that can run VSTi format plug-ins. regs
