Default How do you wire TRS -> XLR???

I want to connect my 002 to a pair of genelecs, and need to make a cable, TRS 1/4 to XLR (cannon) how do I wire it?

Pin 1=sleeve(ground)Connect at output end only.
Pin 2=tip(hot)
Pin 3=ring(neutral)

buy a TRS to XLR adapter and save yourself the misery.

He dowsn't want an adapter, he needs TRS (out of the digi hardware) to XLR(into the Genelecs).

15 minutes if you're slow to build, minimal hassle and agravation.

Eeek! Adapters!

Buy quality cable, cut it to length, quality connecters and good soldering technique. Can't beat it.

Second choice: Buy quality pre-made TRS/XLR cables at appropriate length. I keep a few of each type handy for those "Murphy's Law" situations Good retailer will have them. Of course verify pin designations before ever using ANY cable!!!
