Default PtApp_AudioFileMgr.cpp error

Hi, today I got this message while trying to open a Session:

Could not complete your request because Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/223020/ProTools/App/PtApp/PtApp_AudioFileMgr.cpp", line 1985.

The session opened fine a couple hours earlier for checking something. I quit it without saving.

Other sessions open fine.

Backups of the problematic session show the error also, up to a date (2 days earlier) when it opens.

Restarted the system, etc.. same behaviour.

What does this mean?

I'm on a mac Pro 12.8 ultimate using native thunderbolt
Any suggestion?
Thanks!!
