Auto rename not -01, -02, but original name.
Hi People.
I am working in pt10hd with 4ch files recorded with sd mixpre6. When I edit a region, wich has an original filename re-222 (for example), the new region, instead of getting re-222-01, gets re-226 or some incremental number. How do I get pt to add a new hyphen and number instead of modifying the original name? Or at least, when I click on a region, how do I get protools to highlight the original file in the clip list? It gets very difficult to spot original whole files this way. Thanks a lot! Pepo |

There is no user preference for automatic file naming

Re: Auto rename not -01, -02, but original name.
Ok but my question is why it does not use -01, -02 etc like it should?
I am guessing it is because my names already contain a hypen. Still, a friend is using the same files with the same pt version and he gets the naming right when he edits... |
