Question Problems with PT HD 8, Digi CoreAudio and Logic Pro 8

hello all,
I'm running a system with 10.5.6, a ProTools HD 8, and a 192. I also have Logic Pro 8. I want to open Logic so I can export some older sessions in OMF format. When I try to load Logic, it quits unexpectedly when Initializing CoreAudio. It will start properly if I bypass that step by pressing CTRL during startup. However, I cannot export my sessions unless I have an active audio driver. Does anyone know what's going on? I know this is digidesign, but I figured there's someone out there who knows something about Logic.

Thanks,
BJ McGeever
