Mbox and mix knob
I would appreciate it if someone could tell me more about how the mix knob works on the mbox. I am recording a guitar track, and can't seem to be able to monitor it in stereo while overdubbing. Turning the mix knob only increases the volume on the L side. Once recorded, it plays back on both L and R sides just fine.
The only way I can monitor my guitar on both sides is if I have the mix knob on "playback"...not very convenient when I hit record! Thanks in advance. |

Re: Mbox and mix knob
Right next to the mix knob on the right side is a little button labeled "Mono". Push it and voila! audio in both headphones/speakers. Mute the track being recorded to avoid latency and vary the mix knob to suit your preference while recording (you don't get stereo until playback), then turn all the way to Playback for playback. That's how it works.
