Audio Tracks Not Working

I am having Audio/Vocal Track problems.

I had a vocal track that has been laid for sometime, no problems hearing it on playback in the past.

Than all of a sudden when I hit playback I can no longer hear it. Not only this but when I try and record a vocal track, anywhere in protools 8 le, any template, it does not record my voice at all, or get a playback from a already laid vocal track from the past.

Midi is fine, its just audio/ vocal that the problem out of the blue.

I uninstalled protools 8 le and reloaded it thinking it might be a audio driver problem but it did not correct the problem.

I have compatible O.S. HARD DRIVE, M BOARD/ CHIPSET, RAM, Dedicated Video card, CPU.

We need much more information.

What Avid (Digidesign) hardware are you using?
What are your I/O settings for the problem audio tracks?
Are you using a master fader?
Which monitoring mode are you in? (auto-input? or input only? switch using alt + k).
I'm probably forgetting a few questions.

Also, even though you say and think your computer and peripherals are compatible, they may not actually be. You might want to post a Sandra report as instructed in the General Troubleshooting post to be sure.
