Default Automation

coming from Logic....

1. Is there a way to copy all automation with a clip. Or is there a way in the options to "link" a clip with it's automation?
I already searched "duc" and I tried CTRL C, CTRL V, copy special etc...

2. When I record a plugin parameter in real time (latch)... is there a shortcut to make the lane visible in the edit window after recording is done? instead of using the dropdown menu and search manually for the parameter

Thanks

1. Edit - Copy Special - All Automation ; Edit - Paste Special - Repeat to fill Selection (followed preferably by Edit - Automation - Thin all)
1. Link Automation : ensure Automation Follows Edit is enabled (when disabled, it is orange) (move a clip and the automation will stick to it)
2. Cmd Ctrl - click the parameter button

ah, great, thank you !!!

NB:
Is there a way to expand all the automation lanes already in use rather than clicking individually to show them

Not that I know of.
"Show all used automation lanes and not the ones that are not used" - could be a useful future feature.
But, you can click on the little triangle below the track name in the edit window and select/add manually multiple automation playlists, that are most important.
A click on the triangle, they disappear, another click, they reappear.
