Default DUY or MC DSP vote.

Just wandering the preferred analog tape, saturation, compression, eq plugin. Mainly analog tape.

McDSP !!! McDSP !!! McDSP!!!
90% of my analog toys haven't been turned on since I've started using McDSP. I've tried DUY but it still sound like an emulation in my opinion.

Good luck

I really think that DUY's DaD Tape and McDSP's Analog Channel are both good, but achieve different results: try the demos of each!!!

I will probably buy both. Analog channel seems cleaner, and DaD Tape seems warmer.

I have Colin's AC and love it very much. But, the combo of DAD tape and valve is definitely very cool.
I agree McDsp is cleaner, Tape/valve a bit warmer. Fug it, get all of em. Mix and match.

Sorry this is a bit off topic,

But... I would like to hear how the Fatso Jr compares to AC and the DUY from anyone who has had the chance to work with both.

Mcdsp, both are great plugins - but for the side reasons that Colin Mcdowell (sorry if I spelt it wrong) is probably the nicest developer I've 'met' in any field.

He's cool, polite and really helpful regardless of profit (he was really cool when I bought a second hand Filterbank - like I was getting it new), these sort of people should get all the support we can give them, there are too few of them.

Also I really don't like the DUY interface, personal silly thing I know, but just too black!

Pete

I downloaded demos for both a few weeks back, and my money's going on Analog Channel. The coloration just seems to be more musical to me. (maybe it's a green thing)

McDSP, no contest. These plug-ins are "must haves", plain and simple.
