Unable to quit Bouncing to Disk process
I have the latest ProTools 10 on Windows 8.1.
I used to be able to just hit the Escape key and stop the Bouncing process. Now if I do the same, it just freezes the bouncing to disk window, and continues on with the process. If I click on the red X button (bounce window) it crashes the session and all that! This happens every single time with all sessions. |

Re: Unable to quit Bouncing to Disk process
Can you please check and see if you're experiencing the same problem with the latest PT 10 (windows) version?

Re: Unable to quit Bouncing to Disk process
Has anything changed or been updated(Pro Tools, new plugins, Windows updates)? Trashing database files and preferences is worth a try(it only takes a few minutes to reset preferences, and guitardom has a very handy utility called Trasher that makes this task simple). If none of this helps, how about some details on the setup? Take a read at the Help Us Help You link above
