Default making wing flaps....

Hey there,

Wondering if anybody has any good ideas for creating small wing flaps for a little cartoon bird. I figure I've got to flap something around but haven't found anything around the house yet that sounds decent.

Thanks,
JR

Make sure you do the dishes first or the wife'll kill you.
I also went to the extreme of getting real wings from a deceased parrot.
We stuckem in the freezer untill time to foley, then used them for a
day before they started getting stinky. Sounded like the real deal though.

You're probably done the project, but ...

I used a flag waving sfx once that seemed to work pretty well. Might not be cartoony enough for what you're lookin' for.

Hey guys,

Well I ended up using some work gloves and then pitched them up a bit to make them smaller sounding. Worked ok for what was needed. Definitely would've done some more experimented though if it was a bigger project.

Thanks for the suggestions!
